“Sir your 6 o'clock appointment is here.” said Jiro.
“Thank you, bring them here please” i say to him, and i close my laptop and walk towards the seats in the middle of the office.
“Right this way sir.”
“Thank you” said a old raspy voice. I turn around and it was the Ceo of the Sakamoto clinics.
He was very old and looked very fragile, his white hair was short and his big round glasses made his face look rather small.
“Please take a sit Sakamoto-san, will you like something to drink?” i saw to him and i sit down with him.
“Well yes a coffee will be fine.” he says and i nod to my secretary and she goes to get one.
“So what can i do to help you Dr.” i say to him.
He grabs his bag and takes a yellow envelope out.
“Well this here is the rating for my clinics funding.” he says and he hands me the envelope.
I grab it and open it. The ratings were good to good for a small clinic.
“Yes they are” i say to him and flip the papers.
“Well i was thinking if maybe you wanted to buy them?” he says and i look at him.
“I don't understand” i say to him.
“I was diagnosed with stage four liver cancer” he says and coughs a bit.
“You see i'm all alone in this world, my wife passed away years ago, and i don't have children. To be honest i don't have anyone i can leave my clinic to, and i don't want to give it away without ever trying to help the community.” he says. “I want to donate the money to an orphanage. I heard it was going to close soon so i want to help those children get a better home.” he says and he looks at me. “I completely understand if you don't want to.” The room was quiet, i got up and walked towards my desk and grabbed my phone.
“Patricia call Lawyer Lee and tell him to come to my office asap” i saw to her.
“Yes sir” I look up at Dr. sakamoto who is looking surprised.
“Well doctor will you mind selling it today?” i say to him and he smiles.
“Yes i don't mind.”
